Hi Everyone,
I spent the weekend of October 14th & 15th at the British National Ploughing Championships, at Bishops Lydeard, in Somerset, helping out on the Case IH stand.
Due to heavy rain on the Friday I had to get the lorry dragged through the deep mud with the help of a tractor.
The weather was better on Saturday, with just a few showers, with a nice, dry sunny day on Sunday. Fortunately, the lorry only needed help from a tractor to be released from the ruts that it was sat in and dragging onto firm ground in order to load up ready for home.
Despite the rain, the light, stone free soil was in excellent condition for the ploughing, as you can see in the accompanying photos!
